By accessing and purchasing from www.threadsquirrel.co.uk you agree and are bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1 Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

1.1 If for any reason you are unhappy with any stock (i.e ready-made and non-customised items) from Thread Squirrel, the Buyer has the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods.

1.2 The buyer must inform Thread Squirrel by email or post of their decision to cancel and goods must be returned within 14 days in their original condition at the buyer's expense.

1.3 Upon receipt of the goods, after inspection, a full refund will be issued within 7 days. The Buyer is responsible for any goods that have been damaged in transit when returned so must ensure that sufficient packaging is used.

1.4 Only if the goods are deemed to be faulty or incorrectly supplied then Thread Squirrel will cover the return postage costs.

1.5 A refund will only be issued to the same buyer and payment method that was originally used to purchase the goods.

1.6 We can NOT accept cancellations or returns on any custom made or personalised items.

1.7 It is the buyer's responsibility to check that all details provided are correct. If we have to recreate another item you will be required to pay the full price again and it will be classed as a new order.

These terms are in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014 (previously known as the Distance Selling Regulations).

2. Products and Offers

2.1 Thread Squirrel reserve the right to change, modify or remove products without prior notice.

2.2 All offers and promotions are made subject to availability. Quotes for custom items are valid for 7 days.

2.3 Thread Squirrel reserve the right to alter the prices of any products. Any order placed prior to changes will not be affected.

2.4 Full payment of any goods is required before dispatch.

3. Shipping

3.1 All goods are sent via Royal Mail first class post. Occasionally, we may need to use a courier for certain orders but you will be informed before dispatch.

3.2 We ship worldwide. UK, European and Rest of World shipping options are available through the website shop.

3.3 Royal Mail aims to deliver UK first class post on next working day but sometimes it may take a little longer. Please allow at least 7 working days for items to arrive before contacting us.

4.4 Shipping within Europe generally takes 3-5 working days although sometimes they may get delayed in customs.  Please allow 15 working days for your goods to arrive before contacting us.

4.5 Please allow additional time for goods to arrive over Bank Holidays or over the Easter and Christmas periods.

4.6 It is the Buyer's responsibility to check the shipping address is correct. Refunds will not be issued if an item does not arrive due to an incorrect address. The buyer will be responsible for redelivery costs if an item is returned due to an incorrect address.

4.7 In the event that an item is not delivered, a replacement or refund will be issued. This does not affect your statutory rights. 

4.8 Any additional duty, import taxes or redelivery costs relating to your country are the responsibility of the Buyer.

5. Privacy

5.1 Your personal information (Name, Email Address, Mailing Address) will be collected when an order is placed through the website. This is necessary to process orders. This information is stored securely and will not be sold or shared to any third parties.

5.2 Your credit/debit card details are not available to us.

5.3 If you send a message through our contact form you are giving us permission to contact you via email. This information will not be shared with any other companies.
